Ibadan Serial Killer Confesses Killing Another Woman After Escaping From Police Custody

Suspected Ibadan serial killer, Sunday Shodipe, has confessed to killing one Mrs Funmilayo Oladeji at her residence in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state, two days after escaping from police custody on August 11.

Shodipe disclosed this on Wednesday while being paraded at the Oyo State Police Command headquarters in Eleyele.

When asked where he went after his escape, the 19-year old said that he went back to Akinyele. On how he killed Mrs Oladeji, Shodipe said he used machete to inflict injuries on her head.

Parading Shodipe along with other suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Nwanchukwu Enwonwu, noted that the suspects would be handed over to the correctional centre.

The CP explained that the press briefing was aimed at intimating Nigerians on the concerted efforts by the police to rid the state of criminals who are bent on rupturing the peace of the state

Paraded with Shodipe are those arrested for the bank robbery in Okeho on July 29, suspected kidnappers and rapists.
