Atiku Meets PDP Presidential Aspirants, Wike Absent

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State was absent on Wednesday as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, met the 2023 presidential aspirants of the party at his Asokoro residence in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Present at the meeting were Dele Momodu, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, Tari Oliver, and Charles Ugwu.

The PDP standard bearer appreciated them for accepting with good fate the outcome of the convention that produced him as the PDP as party’s candidate.

Wike and Atiku have been at loggerheads since the convention of the party that produced Atiku as the standard bearer.

Atiku pledged to work in harmony with all of the aspirants in the build up to the 2023 general election, saying they would all play different roles for his victory at the polls.
