Fresh 30 cases of COVID-19 have been discovered in Oyo state after samples were taken – the state governor, Seyi Makinde, gives details of the cases and the parts of the state were they were recorded
The governor says the state will embark on community-based testing drive. The governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, on Sunday, June 7, confirmed that 30 residents of the state have been hit by COVID-19 following a test carried out on their samples.
Makinde made the confirmation through his official Twitter account saying the 30 samples all came back positive. The governor also mentioned the areas of the state where the cases were discovered.
Seyi Makinde says Oyo has fresh 30 cases of COVID-19. The governor added that the emergency operations centre would commence additional community-based testing at Oyo East, Itesiwaju and Oyo South local government areas of the state on Monday, June 8, 2020.
