COVID-19: Former Gov Ajimobi, Wife Hospitalized, PSC Boss, Musiliu Smith Loses Wife

Former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, may have contracted the deadly coronavirus infection as he’s said to be receiving medical treatment at a cardiology hospital in Lagos.

It was gathered that the immediate past governor of Oyo State began to show symptoms related to COVID -19 and was immediately diagnosed to be Coronavirus infection. It was however, gathered that his wife, Florence, is also seriously ill.

It was learnt that the former Oyo State first lady had been on and off the hospital environment both within and outside Nigeria before the advent of COVID -19 Pandemic.

Meanwhile, Lagos State government has announced the death and burial plans for Alhaja Airat Aderoju Smith, the wife of former Inspector General of Police and Chairman of Police Service Commission (PSC), Alhaji Musiliu A.K Smith.

The announcement was made in a statement early today, saying late Alhaja Smith died on Friday 5th June 2020 at the age of 69.
