COVID-19: Lagos Govt Confirms 51 New Cases

The Lagos State Government, on Thursday, confirmed 51 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, disclosed this on his official Twitter page.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Lagos State to 2,057.

His tweet reads : “COVID19Lagos update as at 13th of May, 2020.

“51 new #COVID19 Infection confirmed in Lagos.

“Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 2057

“26 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 13 females & 13 males; all Nigerians were discharged.

“This brings the total number of #COVID19 discharged patients in Lagos to 528.

“Together we can break the chain of #COVID19 transmission if we TakeResponsibility ForAGreaterLagos.”
